The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, is inviting online applications for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 (APTET 2024) for classes I to VIII. AP TET 2024 Important Dates

The last date to pay the fee is 17 February 2024.
Application Fee
- Examination Fee: Rs.750/-
- The examination fee shall be charged Rs.750/- for each Paper-I (A), (B), Paper-II (A), (B) separately.

Age Limit
A candidate applying for the AP TET must have attained a minimum age of 18 years at the time of submitting the application form. There is no upper age limit to be eligible to appear in the AP TET.
Educational Qualification
For candidates applying for classes 1 to 5 (Paper 1-A), it is necessary to have completed Intermediate with a minimum of 50% marks along with a Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. For Paper 1-B, candidates must possess an elementary diploma in special education.
For those aiming for classes 6 to 8, a graduation degree with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. are required for Paper II-A. In the case of Paper II-B, candidates should have either a B.Ed. in Special Education or a General B.Ed. with one year of Special Education.
